tire clearance

I'm putting the 16" wheel from the Special on my Standard. I'm playing with spacers to get the brake calipers to work right, but I'm noticing that I've got about 1/8th" clearance between the tire and the swingarm/driveshaft (the left side looking from the rear of the bike). I have about an inch or so on the right side . I don't think this is normal. Is there any way to get the approprate clearance in there?

Those dimensions are normal. They are all like that.
