I'm confused... (Turn Signals)

Ok I just bought some rear turn signals from ebay...

That mounting braket doesn't make sence on a 79F because it should go through the little holes in the back. Were these miss labeled or am I just not looking at them right?

Rear Signals

The signal set you bought are for a bike equipped with saddle bags. It bolts to your rear license plate bracket. The original signals fit into the large holes through the lower rear portion of the frame and normally have a large rubber "biscuit" to allow the the signal stocks to flex under shock loads/bumping.

Well I guess that will work for now... I'll probably fab some up that look cooler down the line anyway.
