who ownes the most xs1100

at this moment i've got six,an xs1100special 79 with sidecar and xs1100 2h9 78 and xs1100 2h9 79 all three on the road and
xs1100 2h9 80 with blown headgasket ,in parts.
xs1100special 3j6 80 a bit in parts,my favorit.
xs1100sport 5k7 81 gearproblem,standing in my livingroom all three sleeping on a dry spot.

the funny thing is that i'll only have to pay 28euro a jear for an oldtymerinsurance for each bike that is more than 25years old.
i also drive a cheap car to drive, an bmw316 1978 with lpg instead of gas on board ,its nessesairy to keep that car because the sun is not always shinning here in holland .
and going to the supermarket it is easier to jump in that car

Lived in Brussels region for 9 years. Couldn't find too many days without rain so my BMWs got a lot of use. Had 3 of them at one time all of them old. 520 and 525 injected models. Now I love riding my XJ and wish had had one there to save on taxes and gas. The Belgian annual vehicle tax will make anyone want to have an old car.

And a few bits and pieces of varous bikes I had and some I hadn't.
And a HD FLH.... on a shelf. A tad on the small plastic side.
And a HD police bike, yamaha 450 dirt bike, GSX 1100 katana and GPz 900R mods in GTA vice city.
OK... seriously.... cheap registration and stuff is gonna keep the XS in the house, but I'm kinda missing something fast and plastic. And of the V2 or V4 persuasion.
But then again... I said I'm gonna get me something of a 90s bike... and along came 78E

I'm down to 3 and one's a parts bike. The Mongrel is a 1980 with a lot of 79 standard parts. The milage is unknown. The stock speedo self destructed around 46k and the PO was sure it had another 10k or more on it.

The other 2 are 79s and I hope to build one nice one from the pair. The parts bike has 34k miles on it and the resto project has only 17k miles but it sat under a carport for 20 odd years and looks pretty bad.

I sold a 79 standard and an 80 special last year.

It'sa Xs1100 bj.78 color red with Martini windshield (only 500 made like this) mounted on it,it's almost a cabriolet

When i'm laying in my bed i smell real motorbikeflued fume's because there are a lot of parts around me

I only got to do something about the gas smell in my house,it is become expensive stuff these days,and i want to keep where i paid for
