    Hey there Madbiker,

That's great. Now, what you could do is get a simple 12volt relay, and wire it in place of the dead headlight relay, providing it's charging properly?? Did you fire up the bike and test the White wire there to see if you could measure any voltage? If no voltage there, then the DIODE is probably fried, if you're getting more than 12volts AT the battery!!

If you are getting voltage from the white wire at the relay, then a new simple relay should work. Connect the Blue-Blk and Red wires to the 2 terminals for the high/power side, and then connect the White and black wires to the low/switching side, and it should work!

You could also wire in an extra switch/relay combo to those wires, same as above, just run a low power feed thru your switch to the switching side of the relay, and then you can have the ability to TURN OFF your headlights even when the bike is running!?

My dad and I were workin on the bike today, and he went to adjust a fuse clip for more tension...snap...I told him before hand that it would happen. Now 3/4 are broken. Hopefully he'll spring for a new fuse box for me! Whatever, they aren't that expensive anyway, from what I've read on here.

Anyway, we got it running, and the light just happened to come on too...now I just need to get the switch straigntened out, seeing as how it is broken. sigh, so much to do...I don't know if I'll get it road worthy before winter. No heated garage, or even an unheated one to work in. Oh well, I guess I'll resume in the spring if it doesn't get goin...
