    will a pin hole in one of my carb diaphragms affect the performance in any way

    Make sure the pinholes in all four match.

              You can get a tube of Yamabond #5 from any Yamaha dealer it's also a fantastic sealer.

              I used it to fix all the slides in the Mongrel and you can't hardly tell where they were repaired.

                Just don't forget when using the plasti-dip or any other coating that the diaphrams must remain flexible so don't put too heavy a coating on. I have also heard of people gluing a thin piece of latex cut from a rubber on for a patch.
