After I take care of nasty fluids, and 4 years of dust, she's gonna be fine. To my amazement, I suspected, and discovered a broken pick-up coil wire on this 7800 mile bike. I guess their never too young. Fork seals on order, and fluids being changed as of now.

Yep, that sounds about right! The bike cut out big-time when going into tight turns (and lingered for a long time thereafter) and the top local Yamaha mechanics could never find the reason, so that makes a hell of a lot of sense! Thanks for the update!
