Look at and sit on. Hope you have lots of built in padding. Seems like a long reach from the seat up to the drag bars. Your ride, your body, your pride and joy, your pain.
      Have fun.

I like the chop. It is definately a different look for an XS11. How does ride?

AMIZINGLY ENOUGH, IT ACTUALLY RIDES GOOD, NOT ANYWHERE CLOSE TO STOCK BUT I LIKE IT. THE BARS WOULD BE A REACH FOR A SHORTER PERSON BUT ONCE AGAIN THEY'RE BUILT TO MY SIZE.

Hey- thats a bonus that it rides good and looks good. I don't think you screwed up a good bike. I'll say it again, it is a nice chop. I downloaded a couple pictures of yours in case I feel like changing things myself.

That's a cool lookin bike. What do you think about foward controls? I think it would look cool but probably would not handle very well in the corners till ya got used to it. I can see though your bike needs three things very badly. 1.) riding. 2.) more riding 3.) losts more riding.

ACTUALLY I AM THINKING ABOUT FABBING UP SOME FORWARD CONTROLS, JUST DON'T HAVE THE DESIGN RIGHT YET. I MAY POSSIBLY SWITCH TO A JOCKEY SHIFT , BUT I'M NOT QUITE SURE. THE BIKE DOES GET RIDDEN VERY OFTEN, I'VE KINDA PUT THE TRUCK ON THE "SHELF" FOR NOW AND TAKE THE BIKE EVERY WHERE.

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE COMMENTS, IT'S GOOD TO HEAR THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO LIKES WHAT I'VE DONE.

Sometimes we all need to make our rigs unique! I've done some mods to mine too, not as radical as yours though

I LIKE THE WAY THAT REAR END LOOKS WITH THOSE BLINKERS AND TAIL LIGHT.

                      Thanks,
The tail light is a "cat's eye", and the turn signals are short stalk mini's. On the front I have flush mount signals mounted into the fairing.[IMG][/IMG]

Tracker, That's a pretty sharp bike too. Have you thought about a set of shorties for the exhaust? It'd be a little loud but man what a ride.

Czekus, That's part of the plan for this winter. A set of pipes, new rear shocks.......and some finishing touches. I'm just enjoying the ride this summer. We've had a good year in Maine so far!

IF YOU DECIDE TO GET RID OF THOSE PIPES TRACKER, LET ME KNOW. I COULD REALLY USE A NEW PAIR. MY BROTHER-IN-LAW WOULD LOVE THOSE BLACK PIPES AND WOULD MAKE ME A GOOD TRADE FOR HIS CHROME ONES.

CAKustom, I'll let you know if the black pipes become available. It won't be before this winter though.
