On the Xj there is a battery sensor on the dash panel that will not go out unless you have a sensor in the battery, has anone tried to bypass this and go direct to the fuse block to get a signal? i think i can put a resistor inline and go to the fuse to get around it, when i changed the battery i destroyed mine trying to get it out of the battery, any suggestions? i hate to pay 25$ for a 2 c resistor.

Some batteries come with the sensor included. I think aftermarket ones are $7.00. If your friends with a shop owner put in a used one."We are often so caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey." " -

I used the FIX from (jerry?)worked like a charm.Pics and description very easy to do. Even for me.I got awhole pack of resistors was under $2.00. I used 2.2ohm resisters still worked fine.From radio shck.
