    Carb parts misc.

    Hey all,

Been reading the forums for about a week now and have to say this is a better support group than an AA meeting. That aside I picked up a 78 XS1000E from my brother (the only owner) on the 4th of July. Inspired by all the great tips I decided to tackle the carb cleaning. I found it very easy but my brother must have been there before as a few small parts were not where they were supposed to be or gone altogether. Missing parts are:

    1- Main jet washer

    1- Float bowl drain washer

1- choke slide ball and spring

Any ideas where these parts can be found?

And thanks for all the good reads.

      Spare Carbs

Not sure what what year or model but I've got two extra carb racks lying about, PM me and we'll see if we can hook up. And by the way welcome to the best support group for XS'ves around.
There's always a way, figure it out.

I believe you can still get all of those bits from Bike Bandit for a reasonable price. I got main jet washers not too long ago from them.

            pathfinder fixed me up

Thanks to all, but Pathfinder is from the same area and has offered to help me out. I will keep in touch and post pictures as the restoration progresses.
