  • 3000 RPM hesitation

    Hello

    Okay, I think I've gone through the break in process on the new top end. Using no oil and generally running well. However, I have a hesitation at 3000 RPM. Not much of problem on the highway but very noticable in town. Seems to be a bit worse under more load than one rider.

    What would the best way to fix this?

    i had the same problem on one of mine it turned out to be a blocked jet in one carb.i did not take carbs of to sort it;
    removed the airbox;
    start engine and let run till warm;
    rev engine to 4000th revs;
    then block of one carb at a time while keeping the engine running;
    the suction of the engine sucked the crap out of the carbs
    no problem any more.
