valve pads

Have another question will valve pads. If i'm tight on the valve measurement can i take of a little bit of the pad doing it myself i live in a smaller town and sure i'll have to order.
exhaust measurements est. about .160 and manual says .23
intake est. around .800-.127 specs say .19. Does this mean its tight and need smaller pads?

Don't shave the shims. If you need them, buy new ones for $4 or swap some around to get the clearances you need. Read my response on your other post.
