    Hi Gaffer,

Thanks for your message, you're too kind with me and my english

Well, you'll understand how difficult it is to do a "remote diagnosis" !!! I really don't know what you expect, what you mean by "power" ... the best to do is to borrow one (known as in good shape and well tuned) and compare with your.
    Whith the brand new one I bought in 1978, I reached 230 Km/h ( I guess 140 miles ?)
With the one I got last year, (a German model, 1983) maximum speed is actually about 90 miles/h, not because of the engine but at higher speed, the bike have a "snake behaviour"
(I don't know the english word but I hope you understand what I mean !!!)

And YESSSSSSSS, you can do "wheeling" whith this bike; I have a picture where the angle of the bike regarding the road is close to 60° !!!!
By the way, be carefull : when ending the wheeling, the "landing" could be.... ....euhhh... hazardous I agree with this idea: XS11 is a pig !... .... but a powerfull and heavy pig !!!
I could send this picture if somebody wish, just let me know "how"
