Merriam sells the Tkat fork brace. If you contact Tkat directly (tkat@tkat.com) you can buy the same brace for a whole lot less money, $85.00 range. Tkat has mentioned - several times - that he is going to get out of the fork brace business. A couple months ago he had a computer failure and may have lost the machining specs and program used to create these braces. (Recovery was being attempted, don't know if it was successful.) If you have an interest in getting a brace, I would recommend you act NOW to do it.

Just got an e-mail from Tkat, said programs are close to being resurrected from the drive failure, and maybe in a couple of weeks more will be made. Said to watch for a post on the list when things are ready to go.Nothing like a ride on a straight 4.
Or toying with death on my 1983 Maico 490 Spider. Only fractured 3 bones so far.Comment
