  • Cover refinishing

Thanks to all who replied to my exhaust/muffler topic, lot's of good ideas. Since the headers are solid, I may try some slip-on mufflers like these:

Next; what is the best way to refinish to engine side covers, clutch cover, etc.

I'm thinking buffing, then clear coating of some kind???

    Thanks again!

Has any one tried Eastwood's "ZoopSeal"? It was recommended to me by Eastwood for sealing polished aluminum for up to 2 years. I have even seen it plugged on the TV show "Trucks".

It is expensive, but could be a better alternative to clear coats or regular polishing.

I think I might give it a try on my '80 Special.
