Another brake question
While rehabbing the rear master on my XJ, I was checking out the spooge holes. I decided to run a very thin piece of wire thru those two holes. The one hole (bottom, I think) goes right thru into the piston bore. The other hole doesn't seem to go anywhere, or it's plugged. Either way, I couldn't get the wire to go thru it no matter how much I wiggled it around. Does anybody know if that other hole goes anywhere? I have a copy of the factory XJ service manual, but it's pretty much useless where this is concerned. I read the tech post on the rear master spooge holes, but it's for the XS rear master which is different than the XJ.
