  • clear turn signal lens??

Has anyone ever found clear turn signail lens for a Std with rectangular signals? I want to make an LED set up to use both red for stop (extra lights cant hurt) and yellow for turn.

Just checked the 2003 DK catalog, page 447, they sell replacement lenses for the Standard 79-81. The stock amber lens is part # 21-544, the CLEAR LENS replacement is listed to match that # as 21-0165 at $5.99ea, as of 2003!

        Re: clear turn signal lens??

I bought a set of red lens for standards recently off of ebay. You could wire in a trailer converter unit to activate the brake lights and the same bulbs will also function as turn signals. The unit will tuck away under the tail light housing. I did that to one of my standards. I also bought a set of clear lens from Dennis kirk a couple of years ago that work fine, but I do not see them in the 2004 catalog on pg 458.

Go back and read it again

Denis Kirk Metric Bike 2003 Catalog page 446 top of page, right hand column find part #21-544 then read left to XS1100 78-81. Top of page 447 last # listed in right hand column is 21-544 Amber = 21-0165 Clear, the picture above has nothing to do with what you are ordering except for the color. Don't feel bad I didn't see it at first either.
