Fork lock turns on running lights?

I finally got my XS11F up and running last night and discovered something strange. When I lock the fork, the running lights in the fairing come on. (It has a Windjammer SS.)

Any ideas?

You went to far. The first click locks the forks. The 2nd click locks the forks and turns on the parking lights.
