I was 81 last August, and still riding on two wheels (79 XS11 standard). Am I now the oldest member still riding without "training wheels", sidecar or trike?

You give the rest of us hope that we still have some years left to ride. You may well be the oldest still riding an XS11

"81" .... God Bless You. I thought I was old, but you were a grown-up (at least by years) when I was born. I hope I can say that I am still riding if I am lucky enough to still be around (and know who I am) at 81'. The last issue of Motorcycle Classics has an interesting letter to the editor with two photos. The first one is from 70 years ago shows a very young man on his brand new Indian. The 2nd photo is the same man 70 years later on his brand new Royal Enfield 650 twin! I think he's about 85. Good!Marty (in Mississippi)
