    Stability issues can also be caused by mal-adjusted trailing arm bearings. But I think we have taken this tire thread into left field!

      Thanks for the input.

      I am hopeful I have seen the last of the wobble issue for a while, at least at the speeds I ride.

      New shocks, swing arm centring and adjustment, steering head bearing replacement, 15w in front forks all helped to increase the speed at which I could go without a wobble. Minimum 40lb Tire pressure was also required to keep the it away.

      Now the new tires have made a big difference, not noticable at all yesterday, try as I might

        Excellent choice dbbrian, with chosing to go with the 15w fork oil. As the older and usage of these ole' bikes get, upping the anne from factory 10w oil usage to 15w compensates for the teeny dampening orfices enlargement from friction from the oil. With a lot of constant compression and rebound of forks, the oil gets slightly heated(moto-x, forks get REALLY hot). Heat equals FRICTION.....Friction equals wear...….easy-peasy stuff.
