Oil level

I’m having a brain fart early in the season. When I check the oil level should it be even with the full line when engine is cold or a little higher? I haven’t changed oil or filter yet. I wanna run it a few miles first to get any crud out from sitting for 7 months before I do. Thanks

In the middle of the sight glass with the bike on a level surface and on the center stand is good.

Correct as jetmechmarty stated. When changed, at the full mark, or easiest way with oil/ filter change, put in four quarts of your favorite 20-50w conventional oil, ride and enjoy bike.
