  • 78 XS1100E decal

Does anyone have an original decal in good condition under their left side cover that shows the process to attach the wire tool for raising the swing arm prior to removing the rear wheel? I found a company in GB that will make a reproduction of it, but they need a really good pic to duplicate it. Mine is damaged from 40 years of life and I need (2) of them for (2) bikes finishing restoration. I'm assuming they'll add it to their list of repro decals offered for this bike. If you have one, please post or send me a PM so I can retrieve the photo and pass it on. Thanks!

hope the last try worked. I don't know if its me or the site that makes posting pictures difficult.

Wish I could figure it out.

How to Store the wire tool

If someone has instructions on how to store the wire tool...

I have not furgured that one out. Doesn't fit behind that little door or in the tool pouch.

Let me find my '78 owners manual and I'll get back.

OK, checked the "E" manual and the tool is supposed to fit in the tool kit. So you will need to roll it up to about three inches and then squeeze in the middle to fit in the plastic kit, along with everything else.
