  • 79 Frt Brake calipers

Hello, I have a '79 XS 1100SF I am reconditioning. The front dual Brake calipers are gummed up > PB blaster helped but still cannot get pucks out . Any suggestions. PS> the Master Cyl is in pieces awaiting a rebuild kit at the moment.
    Thanks Jamie JAX11

    Easy!
    1. Find a bolt that fits the brake banjo bolt, 10mm if I remember correctly.
    2. Loosen the bleeder valve just about 1 turn
    3. Connect your grease gun to the bleeder and start to pump. The piston will come out without shooting across the garage.

I like to use the rear master cylinder to push out the pistons.
