Anyone remember what the cycle magazines were saying back when? For some reason I remember 3.2 seconds but that seems too fast.

According to motoprofi.com about 4.7 seconds 0 to 60mph. Back in the day, it was the 1/4mile time everyone looked at. That was from 11.73 to 11.84, depending on the rider. VERY quick for a bike then.
