  • Stainless Steel Brake lines

    Hey, everybody.

I'm about to go out of town for about a month beginning July 15th. Anyone who is considering ordering S/S brake lines, the time to do it is now if you want them for this summer. I can fill any orders I get in the first week of July before I go. Then I'm gone until August 13.

Good to see the site is back up and running.

    Cheers,

    Randy

It's not too late, actually I've got a contingency plan in place so my trip won't interfere with the brake line turnaround. Seems the wife IS good for something, after all. So go ahead and order.

In case you don't have the information:

XS Standard OR Special lines are $127 for a four-line set plus $7 to ship in continental US. You must specify Standard or Special when you order. Crush washers are your responsibility.

Any other length or configuration can be fabricated but I need the measurements and the fitting info and I'll quote you the price.

I accept Paypal at this e-mail address:

      theragos@ptd.net

Or if you prefer check via snail mail, send to:

      Cheers,

      Randy

Thanks, Randy. I will do it right now. Are these lines coated with a clear teflon or something? A buddy of mine has ss lines on his Road King and they are'nt covered, starting to get a little rusty looking.

These lines are covered with a clear vinyl cover, helps protect them from stone damage and debris build-up.

Strange but your friend's SS lines shouldn't rust - if they're truly SS?

I dont know if you remember speaking to me, but i called you about a month ago. You seemed very supprised to hear from one of your xs buddies. When i told you some symptoms of my braking, and how i was thinking about new calipers, you said i might have some brake fluid on my disc. You were right! Cleaned it up with some brake kleen and solved the vibrating problem in the front.

I remember, although I don't remember your (real) name. Glad it worked out.

Man, I love being right. Maybe it's because I'm wrong so often???

It's Adrian. I was thinking of changing my user name, just can't figure it out. By the way payment has been sent... looking forward to the brake lines.

I bought and installed a set of Randy's lines -- these are a great value and product and really improved my braking.

I don't doubt it at all, Randy seems like a standup kinda guy. So anxious now, ca'nt wait. Just hope my pistons dont explode with the new lines....

What about us XJ owners? What options do we have for stainless lines? I'm sure someone mentioned in another thread that they had stainless lines on their XJ.

                        Randy,

I have an order with you - will it be sent before you leave? Looking forward to getting the front brake line for the XJ.

                        Thanks,
