    If memory serves me, the turbo was not over-pressure, just set up to maintain sea level pressure at higher elevations. Probably could be modified (change waste gate spring) to get a boost. ICBW. (I Could Be Wrong)

      That is a Mr.Turbo aftermarket turbokit , just like the one I had on my bile in the eighties. When the engine stays unchained it should be used with a maximum of 8lbs of boost. That boost can be adjusted with the waste gate on the left side cross over pipe. Boost started around 4500 rpm and then it gained approximately 25-30 hp but below 4500 most of the famous torque had gone. A crude early system but getting popular again nowadays..
