Maddog Walmart Seat Cover

Hello,

I was researching possible options for making my 80 SG seat more comfortable (and to hide the tears). I found some people talking about the Walmart Maddog seat cover. I did see some people who posted pictures but many of them have been removed or stopped being hosted. So, I thought I would post some new ones incase anybody was interested in this product:






I picked this up at Walmart:

The only downside I see is that it isn't waterproof. Has anyone tried using Scotchgard or a similar product on this?

I wear out 1 or 2 a year. Doesn't seem like it would help a lot but that extra half inch of padding makes a difference. Not to mention getting your butt up off that sweaty vinyl.
