Look left - no cops, look right - no cops, look straight - no cops, Rear view - no-cops: just go.
LOL..yep..legally you're supposed to wait 2 mins in NC.then proceed...but if an officer of the law stopped me I would claim it to be a safety issue..the longer you sit ..the more likely someone could run into you..seen it happen before... not personally though...
And.........this is the neighborhood of drivers some of us are sharing the road with down here in south Florida
Yeah..that aint good...I would completely avoid that intersection at all costs. in fact i would avoid living there at all..just too many people..Do everyting you can to be safe but know that might not be enough..its just a matter of luck and odds...
I've got a oil cooler on mine. I know they don't do much at all with no flow, but I found some little fans that will fit behind the cooler. At least the oil won't BBQ it's self
Up here, if you do not keep your motor running and shift into neutral at a light you will fail your motorcycle test!
Myself I keep it running and in gear with foot on the brake. Feels safest to me.
2-79 XS1100 SF 2-78 XS1100 E Best bike Ever 80 XS 1100 SG Big bore kit but not fully running yet.
Couple of more parts bikes of which 2 more will live!
It is recomended to be in gear with the brake light on. Sometimes I relax in neutral without touching the brake. I do like to have an escape route instead of boxed in.
Plenty of lights near me that turn when the weight of a car rests on it's in-road sensor. Of course, on two wheels we do not weight enough to trigger the sensor, so if no cars are waiting with me, the light never changes. I have rode through many a light after waiting a reasonable amount of time and not getting a green light!
This guy is hitchhiking and a guy picks him up and they are flying into a town and the light turns red and zoom threw it the driver goes 100 miles an hour. The hitch hiker say's that's dangerous, and driver replies no brother does it all the time.
The next town the light turns red and zoom 120 mph he goes threw and the hitch hiker says that's really dangerous and driver say's brother does it all the time.
Next light they are running 130 mph and the light turns green and driver slams on breaks skids slides and wrecks So hitch hiker asks why did you do that, the light was green. The drivers say's are you crazy my brother could have been coming.
Moral is if everyone has same rules it works.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
