1980 Yamaha XS1100 Special Ignition Key

I had to spend the night at a hospital and they freaking lost my key. I do not have the key code. How do I go about getting a duplicate?
Please Help!

you can take your serial numbers from the bike id to a yamaha dealer and Maybe they can crank out a key from those,,,,,maybe,,,,or

., YOu can take out the ignition key box and replace it with a ebay one, around 20bucks new or used, or the quick way to at least get the bike going

. you can hotwire the ignition by taking off the headlight and connecting the two wires that come out of the ignition switch with a paperclip{ I forgot the colors} but just follow the key switch wires through the headlight cavity.
