  • Fuel Petcock Spring

    Hi,

Pulled the petcocks apart for a rebuild. Putting them back together and bugger me, missing one spring. Where do I get a replacement?

Can you not measure the spring you still have and find one similar in a hardware shop or ebay?

This is a good rebuild guide.

Vacuum petcock? Which spring? There's one on the handle and one behind the diaphragm.

Sometimes you can find a missing piece on the garage floor by turning off the lights and hold a flashlight level with the floor.

I believe some of the kits include that spring.
