Therefore, atmospheric pressure it down about 3 inches of mercury vs. Sea level, and about 1.5lbs per sq inch as well. So there's a chance that jetting for sea level could cause you to be a little rich at your altitude.

Sorry T.C........not even close to correct. I state that from knowing ACTUAL monitored vacuum from sea-level to over 10,000ft. elev. using a Mas-Port vacuum machine. Here, at 5,000ft. elev @ 18in. vacuum. At 11,000ft.@ 16in. vacuum. So, with that, and him at 3,100ft. elev., vacuum he should be reading IS 18in.vacuum. Therefore, these carbs being of 'altitude compensating' using vacuum slides/metering rods, stock jetting in his bikes case works just fine. I just state that from riding these ole' scoots everything from Caly's PC-1 from Morro Bay to Monterey Bay and back.... to top of Pikes Peak over 14,000ft. elev.......and everything inbetween. NORMAL riding locations for my bike has ALWAYS been from 5,000ft elev. to some 11,500ft. elev...........all super smooth running AND stock original jetting, as whole bike is still all original as it was when I bought it new.
