  • Rear brake line

Good afternoon to all. Hope no one has been affected by Harvey.
I am rebuilding brakes in my 79F. It has a 3 part rear line. 2 of rubber at ends and a steel middle one. Can I replace with a S/S single line from caliper to M/C ?
    79 XS1100F.

    TC's fuse box.

Beware of those SS lines sold on eBay, the one for the rear of the XS11 is too long and you have to get creative to rout it and keep it out of the way. If I were doing it again, I'd spend the bux and get a Russel SS line...

        Thanks Phil and Geezer.

I have Amazon Hose here in Tampa. Been around forever doing hydraulic hoses. About 5 yrs ago they got the OK to do brake lines. I've had them do a couple for me and they're excellent. S/S covered in plastic, black, grayish or clear. They bend banjos to whatever you want. Thanks again.
