  • 1980 1100G mixture screw part #?

I cannot find it, and looking at an exploded view of the carb it's not even listed. I need a single replacement. Any help greatly appreciated.

I think I've figured out why this part's not even shown on the exploded view. It was initially covered with a blind plug thanks to the EPA or whatever, so apparently they didn't want people messing with it and never even showed it on their parts diagram.

These carbs on the 1980 1100G are set up differently than all other models as far as I can tell, which makes it even more difficult to source parts, and I can't even find a rebuild kit which has the appropriate parts insofar as the jet sizes, etc.

That being said, I think any Mikuni BS34 fuel screw with the same profile will work. I just can't seem to find anything out west. Everything is Florida, Pennsylvania, etc., and I'm in WA state. I need it a bit sooner than that.

80 and 81 carbs are different than the 78 and 79. Yes, 80 and 81 have brass plugs in the towers from the factory so that we can fiddle with emissions.

This has been a bit of a frustrating endeavor. I could not find any mixture screws nearby, so I decided to buy a carb rebuild kit. I found ZERO carb kits anywhere which use the correct jets for the 1980 1100G. I had to buy a kit for a special.

I am also wondering if the tapered mixture screws would work, instead of the stepped ones which breaks off the tip. My 2nd bike had a broken tip in one carb. I didn't see the tip in there, either. I hope it didn't end up in the cylinder.

I finally found the OEM part number 11J-14105-00 which led to the discovery of a couple expensive NOS parts on eBay. I ordered a couple of aftermarket ones from across the country.

Still have not been able to find any carb rebuild kits for the 1980 1100G.

You aren't looking in the right places. There are as many kits available as you want. G and H kits are the same.

George Fix on eBay is a good vendor for the kits.
