I have oil seeping from what I think is the oil cooler hookup? Can you check the photo and tell me if that is what this thing is, and what it takes to stop the leak?

That is your cam chain tensioner, be very care messing with it. Follow the write-up on here so you don't bend your valves when messing with it.
Also there are many of us that have changed to an automatic chain tensioner. There is also a write-up that lists what other tensioners work.Nathan

Easy fix
I just fixed this a month ago. There is a plastic cap, yours is intact. Pry it out carefully. Then put gasket sealer on the cap, reinstall, ride.80 GComment

This isn't your oil cooler nor does it have anything to do with the oil. This is your CAM CHAIN TENSIONER. Remove it very carefully but DO NOT attempt to start your bike while doing so. Simply remove it replace the gasket & place a small film / thin layer of GREY HIGH TEMP SILICONE or permatex #3 so that it will seal upon both sides of the gasket.
