XS1100 Site Is Behind The Curve (Pun Intended)

Being a member of the XS1100 Facebook page, it's amazing the stuff I'm seeing on there that I have not seen on this site. Bryan Horn (Aussie1100G [107 hp XS]), posted a comment on his C5 Optical Ignition system. Pretty pricey, but seems to be a very nice mod.

I just saw that too, and wondered (hoping) there would be some expert reviews of it here.

You don't get much but a comment and picture on FB, then its gone

I've talked to Bryan throughout the years about his bike. Nice guy. I think we'll see him post here eventually about it.

"Then its gone" yep that's the problem with FB. The UK club now has a FB page, newbies are using it instead of the forum, I have tried to get them to post on the club forum so their work is not lost, so there is record of it for others to see in the future, but they won't. So "its gone"

Why is it "gone"? It shouldn't be. FB posts stay, unless deleted.

OK, maybe not entirely gone, but down the list of posts so far that it is essentially gone. You could search a group I see, but what was it called again?

...ignition...no that's not right, points.... no that's not right....oh forget it.

I'm not very good with FB

Yep you're an oldie that's why you post your work on FB AND the forums Math.

I didn't see you at the German XS meeting.

You're right. I did not trust the weather, weak as I am. I absolutely hate riding in wet weather. I am definately not as hardcore as you Brits are. Gerard en Maurice asked me to join them but yeah ... you know the result heheheh.
