    Left handlebar switch

Ok. Foiled again. Installed a nice set of handlebars on the F today, and once again turn signals are dead. Nada. Not the fuse. Parking lights work.

I wiggled the wires coming off the switch and they worked very briefly.

Has anyone used the left switch forum MikesXS? What's involved?

Or does anyone have an original they could sell?

    Thanks much!

Either no ground from bars to switch or switch needs to be taken of bars and cleaned internally and checked for broken solder joint.

Hadn't considered grounding to the handlebars. Everyone else, like the horn, and hi low beam switch works fine.

      Any other clues?

Anyone use the xs650 switch gear?

Sounds like the good old solder has lost it's grip ?
If you don't solder the wires back on I'll do it, send it to me.

Thanks for pointing out the solder problem in the left control. Yep! 3 loose wires in the bottom. Bought myself a solder gun at big box store, and went to town. Fix requires at least three hands! One to hold the wire, one to hold solder, one to hold gun. Anyway, it's back together and working!
