Can't believe I have been a member here since June 2011, time flies by for sure. I had been off a cycle for 10 years when I was offered an 80' XS11 Special by my sister in law. Had that bike for a couple of years but it created a monster as far as motorcycles go for me!
Anyways I am back in the XS game today with the first fireup of my 79' XS1000F with the help of DiverRay and TopCat. They helped set me straight with some electrical issues. The bike is a ways away from being road worthy but it's a positive step forward. I bought this one from a guy a little over 2 years ago who had bought it from a guy who babied it and always kept inside under cover. This moron bought it and promptly let it fall over on the it's left side in the mud. When I got it the bike was a mess, what a shame. Here are some pics from today, I am getting the XS fever again.
