  • 4 jets I bought

    3 have an R and the mikuni window in window,
    1 has RD and no window. I was Just reading another thread and saw the DON"T USE KL OR RD.
    I checked the orifices with drill bits and they seem the same.
    There must be a reason not to use RD, anyone care to tell me what that is please ?

    Mikuni from my understanding uses a flow rating for their jet numbering and K&L and R&D just use a hole size.

      I've seen a big difference between Mikuni pilot jets and K&L but never saw RD before. The drill check at least showed the orifice at least was very close in size between the RD and Mikuni 115 main jets.

        RD jet sizing is fairly close to Mikuni jet sizing. They seem to be more predominit at Honda dealers. Unfortunately, 'close' still isn't good enough.
