  • Oil Brake Light on and off.

Oil is good. Front brake resorvoir above lower level and all the turns work. I haven't checked rear brake reservoir yet. Is that connected to a sensor? It stays on for a minute or two and goes off. Thanks for any help.

The 79SF has a unique LCU (light checker unit) that illuminates the oil/brake light on the dash to warn if the tail/brake light filament is burnt out. If the bulb checks out ok, then the connector pins of the LCU can be at fault. They can get stretched out and make poor contact causing the dash light to come on erratically. The LCU is under the left plastic side cover.

Didn't see it but I played with most of wires and jiggled them and no light came on at all. Thanks for the tip
