Hello all, i am new to this forum and haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet so i apologize if i'm posting in the wrong area.
Anyways, i have a 1981 XS11 heritage "chopper" that's hardtailed and what-not. it seems like it has an exceptionally weak spark, especially on cylinder 4, which sometimes doesn't fire at all. across the cylinders the biggest gap that the spark will jump is MAYBE 1/8 of an inch, and it is a nice clean blue-white spark but it's not very bright nor will it bridge much of a gap. i know next to nothing about the 1100's, so would anyone say it's time to replace the coils on it? i would hate to spend the money on new coils for that not to be the issue..
