    Engine Crash Bars

Following shows engine crash bars to fit XS11 year 1980 - 1982:

Raw Power Motorcycles doesn't know if they'll fit my 1978 XS11, can someone advise if they'll fit?

    Cheers Dave

Dave, considering where the bars bend in a crash, those may not be much better than two-point mounted bars. They look pretty cool though.

      New!

...but they are new, and I didn't realize one could buy new crash bars for an XS11 anywhere.

I can't think of any changes between the 1978 and the '80-'82 that would preclude your application.

The advertisement suggests the bars are made for a Special model, and I don't think the Special model was available in 1978, so I assume you have a Standard model. Still, I can't think of any reason they wouldn't fit.

      Others will chime in.

It looks like they mount on the engine mount bolts, so yes, they will fit all years and models of XS11's. Nice find!
