Brake Pads Seem Loose

Reinstalling rear caliper after a rebuild, and the pads seem pretty loose. I haven't installed on the bike yet, but wondering if I'm missing something or they're supposed to be that way. Little phillips screw (called the pad screw in the manual) seems not too precise if it's supposed to stabilize the pad.

Hi Mschor,
If re-installing used pads there will be plenty of room for loose pads.
The caliper will take that up once applied. If using new pads it should fit quite snug. Do you have the clips and spring installed?
The screw with a tapered end is a loose fit and only locates the pads.
