  • Side Covers Emblems for Special

I just finished painting my tank and side covers on my 1980 Special. Does anyone make new side cover emblems? Mine are not too bad but would like new ones.

    Thanks.

The ones from Diablo are high quality not cheap mine were around 100.00 years ago and 54.00 each now. You will wait some time for them took me more than a month. You may need to put a little bow in them to make them fit the side cover properly. Do not try it by hand there are better ways just ask. I suggest you also use a double sided tape around the edges for 2 reasons. First they will not vibrate and wear the paint as they are heavy and the clips will allow them to slide a little. Second it will hold them on better than the clips and the last thing you want is for one to come off and slide down the road marring the shinny finish.

To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
