Here's a photo from our old Dyna Tek coil replacement tech tip, but they are the 1.5 ohms type.
It's hard to see from your photo, but I think I can just see the DynaTek letters/stripes on the side of the coil in your 2nd photo, similar to these red ones.
So...I think DynaTek did use different colors for different ohm types, but they may have changed their color schemes from 1998 vs. now which ARE green! I tried to find some photos of mine,but can't find them to show the green color as you are aware of, but I only replaced them a few years ago, no where as old as the '98 ones you showed.
