I have a relative interested in buying my 1980 LG,





It currently has the 1196 big bore kit, RC Engineering 4 into 1 header and Super Trapp muffler. Superbike handlebar and Maier fairing. Aftermarket front brake master cylinder
I do still have the original bars and exhaust.

Just curious how much these are selling for now.

I haven't ridden it in several years and no one on here showed interest when I posted the bikes awhile back.

We will be moving next year to AZ and I have a shed full of XS1100 and XS750 parts that I don't want to take.
They would be FREE to anyone that wants to come get them (Modesto, CA). I won't ship anything, so it's "you come get it". Anything left is going to the landfill.

At the moment I plan to keep the 78E as I still occasionally ride it.

How long is a piece of string The Midnights certainly do better than most other models when in pristine condition at auction.
Around me a running motorcycle of this vintage is worth about $1500
To a collector if it still looks as good as the picture with the original parts you mention I would think $3500 should be possible.
Depends how motivated you are and what he wants.
Suggest you PM MPittman as he has been in the market across the US and has some excellent examples of XS.

The interested party is a relative, sort of (a young woman that has been a "daughter" since she was 9 years old, 26 now).
I think she wants it to "flip" it.
As for running, it needs a battery and carbs gone through, and it will be running.
There is a possibility that she might get it for free.
If she's flipping it, I just want her to know how much to expect to make from it.

Hi Pat...I'm in agreement with Phil as for valuation...keep in mind that OEM condition is worth more than bikes that have non oem parts added ...
Where in Arizona are you planning to be?..we are planning to relocate back to Tucson ourselves possibly late this year or early 2018

A set of MNS pipes ALONE can go for $500.00 or so on eBay. Hope you get a few $$ out of it for her flipping it. Remind her to tell the buyer about our site.
