    Front Brake rubbers.

I am after the rubbers / rubber rings to rebuild my front brake calipers. My bike is a xs1100R 1981 model. Anybody point me in the right direction.
    thanks.

I'm not sure on the models from outside the us, but I'll try to help. If your brake pads are FLAT when new, it is a "Standard" style front brake (they also look like the rear brake). If the pads are TAPERED, or look like someone sanded one side down, then you have a "Special" style front brake.
You can get the rebuild kits for both types, you just need to know what type you have. Another clue is the "Special" brakes are held on with one bolt that goes up from the bottom, and the "Standard" has two bolts at the top outside of the caliper, looks just like the rear brake. You can get kits from "georgefix" on ebay, or I think mikesxs may also have them. These are US suppliers, and I'm sure there are some down under as well.

I think 1100R is like the Euro Sport, therefore the calipers will be like the XJ1100M, or the RD350 LC, and maybe MNS.

Yambits do quality reproductions and have them in stock. If you lads over the pond are struggling for parts its an option.
