    Just thought I'd post this link, as petcock issues seem to crop up here on a regular basis. Some of you may already know of these and could appraise them for the rest of us

    The bolt spacing is or should be correct for the XS1100 standard. It will not fit the Special. That leads me to believe it may not fit the Sport.

      Petcock

      I use these petcocks. I am slowly replacing all of my vacuum petcocks. They will fit the xs1100 standard only!!! With as many bikes as I have I much rather have an off position so I can run the carbs dry. These are simple and great.

        Like them

        I bought the same petcocks from Mikes XS for one of my XS750's.

        I really like them.

        Some people don't like the idea that the right petcock swings backward to turn OFF and the left petcock will go forward to turn OFF, but it is not a concern for me at all.
