Got a puff.....????

I've just realised my bike seems to puff a mist of gas when you rev it on the work stand. #1+4 do it but 2+3 dont. Should I dig into the valve train cause I've heard that a tight valve can cause this..... It's going to be in the stand for the season so I can look at EVERY SINGLE SUGGESTION that any one has. And now have a puff.....lol

I wouldn't expect it to act normally when the airbox is not hooked-up. See how she behaves once you put it back together. The carbs operation depends both on the exhaust system and the intake conditions, as well as all of the carb set-up parameters! A lot of variables in the mix.
