I have one, but I haven't ridden it for a year or so.
And I left the YICS plug in.

Take a look at the XS11.com logo at the top of the page (with all the bikes on it), notice the bike at the lower left hand corner of the logo, that's an XJ.
Seat and tank have a kind of swoopy look to them and tank holds a bit more fuel.
The engine has the YICS system that allows (if I have this right?) fuel mixture into shared tunnel so that all 4 carbs have equal vacuum, to feed the carbs the same.
It/they have adjustable handle bars, slightly lower seat position causing a lower center of gravity aiding handling over a more top heavy bike.
I'm not trying to pick on the XS, please.
I owned a BMW K100LT, talk about top heavy !!!!!

Leave it in so you can't lose it and you'll know right where it is the next time you sync the carbs.

Stick it in a black plastic bag and tie it to the frame with the spare clutch/throttle cables? That's what I plan to do with it when I can just hop on and ride somewhere besides Walmart for tube socks and beef jerky.

                      Hey Done,

In your other YICS thread one member said at least 58, but that got me to thinking, so I went to the ADMIN side and did a quick search of registered members by Bike Model, typed in the XJ and hit search, and it came back with exactly 1000. Now I don't know if that was the maximum search results, since it showed me only a page of 1 to 50, but said 50 out of 1000, so just don't know if there is a search results limit???

Okay, answered my own question....just did a search for "11", which would encompass all of the bikes, and it came back with a total of 5921 members with 11 in their bike model description. Now some members use phrases like "80SG" and not use "11".

Just did a search of 82, and only got 480 total. And some folks have OTHER XJ models beside the XJ11, but I'm sure a majority ARE XJ11's, vs. 550/650/750's.

                      Okay, hope that helps.

Well, part of the problem is that folks come on here looking for info, parts, etc., find it, fix their bike, and then go away. Their activity shows they haven't been back to the site for years. Due to the software/database glitch we have encountered, I can't add NEW MEMBERS because it won't let me increment the new member count. SO...to get around this, I review old member accounts that NEVER posted to the forums, and haven't been back to the site since 2003.......so far. I then recycle their account for the new member. The old member may have gotten rid of their bike, moved, even died??

Think we checked the accounts and found that there are only about 250 to 500 active members that have visited the site in the last 6 months or so. And so you may not get very many more replies to your YICS thread query?
