Now I know what an XJ is really supposed to be like

After several months of riding my Xj with a slipping clutch and no first gear I finally know what it is really supposed to be like. I replaced the clutch and transmission along with adjusting the loose as hell cam chain and what a difference it made. Pulled it out of the yard and stopped at a stop sign. Revved the engine a little and snapped off the clutch, when my back tire quit spinning the front tire lifted off the ground and we were off. All I can say is WOW!!! The bike has unreal power. All I have to do now is get tags and insurance and I will be all set.

Just took it around the block. Will have ins and tags by weekend. Then I will begin the REAL riding. Already planning a 1300 mile round trip to Kansas City, MO July 4th weekend.
