They also have the specifically made for Yamaha lowers that actually had the Yamaha tuning forks which were also made by Vetter they do not have the extended back portion. More heat on your legs but less heat on engine in summer
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
Thanks Greg...
Type 54...what do they look like??...Does anybody have a picture of an actual set they have??? How can they be identified?
tagged on backside of lowers......if it's still there.
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.
Thanks for the compliment hard to believe I had it apart in a shed in buckets for 10 years. The fairing I have is a little different than most it was purchased with my bike as a Yamaha Feature Silverbird II package had new springs for front tubes new shocks for the back and a few other pieces I have long lost for the inside of the Fairing it keep air and noise from coming up threw Fairing . It does not clamp to the frame it bolts to it and the lowers you see are some times on Fleabay but its what you decide to go with covered uncovered some take them off in summer for heat issues.
